White patch, will the skin re-pigment?

i have pale skin but i currently have a slightly lighter whitish patch on my face. i had some spots there and i got a bit too agressive with exfoliating wipes and toner (which contains alcohol) so im pretty sure ive caused it myself. i guess in a sense its sorta a burn/chemical reaction.. im likely prone because ive had a lot of antibiotics recently, i dont actually have a skin condition where it just happens on its on (i know some people are unfortunate and have this) so i was wondering if mine will go away in time? when people get a red burn or when they get a tan their skin gradually starts to return to normal pigment.. so by the same logic will my normal pigment there return? =/
