Should I strip my hair? ?

About a year ago I died my hair black by mistake. After that I continuously tried dying it lighter shades of brown to get rid of the black. With slow success. My hair is a LOT lighter than black now, but I there are some places that are darker than others and some that are lighter (due to the 6 or 7 different brown shades i tried fixing the black with over the course of a year) and everytime I dyed my hair... It hardly changed. It was a very slow process. Now I'm thinking about stripping all fake hair pigment outof my hair because I want my 100% natural hair color back. How should I go about doing this? Where should I go? Should I do it myself, and if I can do it myself what do I buy and where do I get it? How much does it cost, at a salon vs. Buying my own kit? What will it do to my hair? Please answer all the questions if you can- I need help! Btw I'm 15
