Puerto Rico statehood?

I just want some opinions on p.r becoming a state, if it does. I don't think its a good idea because p.r has the highest unemployment rate in the us and it has the lowest gross domestic product. Plus that might mean spanish becoming a de facto national language since so many people over there speak it and it is the first language taught at schools over there.. so yeah i just want to see what you guys have to say about it... also i want to know if minimum wage over there is currently different because if its lower than the united states minimum wage that might mean the companies will go out of business because the united states has high minimum wage so companies will fire a bunch of people and it will fall anyways..(my prediction) so yeah please tell me that and give some opinions and also that means 51 stars unless the government combines the dakotas lol. but seriously 51, the 50 star design looks way better than 51.. an odd number which means its going to be unbalanced unless its a circle design but that almost changing the flag completely.. thankss
