What kind of burn is this?

I was using my hot glue gun and accidently got it on my finger. The happens all the time, but for some reason, this one hurts really bad. It is a relatively small circle on my middle finger and is completely white- like there is no pigment in the skin. Is this a 1st or 2nd degree burn or something different?
