Everytime i use hair color i get headaches?

whenever i use haircolor (not to mention the name of brand) i get sudden headaches and some hairloss too, is it because i am elergic to them, also my hairs are losing pigments and its natural color, i mean my hair's natural color is black, but now its getting white, please help with answers and possible solution. Do i need to contact doc soon?
